I am writing to you as an organisational or individual member of Children in Wales to give notice of our forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on Wednesday, 13th October 2021. The meeting will be held online and details of how to join will be sent separately.
Call for Nominations
In accordance with the Articles of Association of Children in Wales, I am also writing to seek nominations to the Children in Wales Trustee Board, to take office from the AGM.
In preparation for these elections you will find links within this message to nomination papers for the Trustee Board, together with details of the composition and roles of Trustee.
Nominations for Trustee Board
This year, the longest serving Trustees who are required to stand down are David Egan, Jane Newby and Bethan Webber. Having served just one term of office, Bethan Webber is eligible for re-nomination if she should wish. However, David Egan and Jane Newby have both served two terms of office and must stand down for a period of two years before being eligible for nomination again. Therefore there are three places available for election to the Trustee Board.
I would therefore be extremely grateful if you could consider whether or not you wish to make a nomination for the Trustee Board.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. We are extremely grateful for the support that the Trustees provide for our organisation and I very much look forward to receiving nominations from you by Wednesday, 8th September 2021 and hope that you will be able to attend the Annual General Meeting.
